I’m going to a con and need to dye a natural style hair piece for my cosplay. Have been struggling to find one of these videos that use curly hair and not straight. I was starting to think damn, maybe I need to just wing it and make my own video!! I even tried looking up videos by black cosplayers or curly hair with rit dye and I didn’t get ANY relevant results until I googled it and your video popped up!! This is exactly what I needed! Idk why YT is hiding it but thank you thank you!!

would it still be possible to dye wigs using the all purpose? because i saw this video AFTER going to the store and i already picked up the rits multi purpose dye uh..

I watched the entire video so I know it was an excellent vid!eo! Enjoyed every momemt of it and it was just a really engaging video. It felt more like getting tips from a bff on how to die a synthetic wig. The trip to the store explaining the differences(that could actually make a huge difference in whether or not you were even able t dye the wig at all!). So, I really appreciated that. I'm a newbie at coloring wigs, but can never seem to get wigs in the colors and/or with the color blend to my liking! And, I love purple and plums. As well as, burgundy and berries(blue too). I just prefer to keep a dark root . Ombre with black as the base. I'm going to subscribe! I love your energy. Great video!

I’ve never seen anything though and I couldn’t figure out how to work the sewing machine so I just had to do it by hand and so I got the sewing and stitching done at once 😂 but I watched you do your stitching and just copied that and my dress did stay intact 😊

You said we should have washed hair before we dye our natural hair. Just FYI for my hair texture it is the opposite. It is recommended to dye your hair unwashed. Google it!

Hey I have a black wig and I wanted to stay black but it is a synthetic mix. The kind you can put up to 400° heat on it. I just want to get the shine off if I die . Will it take the shine out I do not want to use dry shampoo.

I have a 37-in platinum blonde synthetic wig that I wanna change to a BOLD VIBRANT rainbow for Pride. Can I take this dye add a little water and brush it on like I would die for a human hair wig or would I have to section them all off and dip it into a tall cup with each individual color

I just colored my synthetic wig from blond blond to a pretty nice color I used chocolate brown, some red and some purple. Didn’t get the 99j color but I’m happy with what I got thanks for your instructions on how to😁

thanks so much for the help!! I'm dyeing a wig soon but I'm only intending to change the shade a little bit on my synthetic wig, so hopefully if I use previously boiled water that cools down a little, it should be fine for the curl pattern. If it does end up stretching out the curls into waves too, that should be fine. and a patch test is going to be super helpful!! I hope it turns out ok.

I have synthetic braiding hair that is that same burgundy color that I want to turn the same purple as your wig. I did a test strand but it came out so dark purple it looked blue/black. I think maybe I am not diluting the dye enough. How many gallons did you use for the amount of dye did you use. Or any other ideas, thank you in advance.
